Frequently asked questions
These answers cover the most common file, output, format, and purchase questions.
Which formats does OmniAudio support?
Audio tools accept MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG, Opus, AIFF, and WMA. ALAC is available as an output format. MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM, and M4V can be used for audio extraction. Cover and metadata editing supports MP3, FLAC, and M4A.
Why can’t a file be opened or processed?
The file may be damaged, incomplete, protected by digital rights management, contain no audio, or use an unsupported codec. Try opening it in another media player first.
Why can’t OmniAudio save to my output folder?
Choose the folder again from the Output folder control so macOS can grant access. OmniAudio stores a secure bookmark for the folder you select and does not need unrestricted disk access.
Where are exported files saved?
They are saved in the output folder shown in the current tool. You can change this before processing and use Open output folder after export.
Why can’t I add cover art to some formats?
Embedded artwork support varies by container and player. OmniAudio limits cover and metadata editing to MP3, FLAC, and M4A so the result can be handled reliably.
How do I restore OmniAudio Pro?
Open Settings, select the OmniAudio Pro card, and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase.
Does OmniAudio upload my files?
No. Audio, video, cover images, and exported files are processed locally and are not uploaded to Chang Studio.
