1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how OmniImage, provided by Chang Studio, handles information. OmniImage does not require an account and does not include advertising or usage analytics.
2. Images, PDFs, and SVG files
Files you choose are processed locally on your Mac for conversion, compression, resizing, cropping, PDF creation or export, SVG export, watermarking, renaming, or metadata removal. OmniImage does not upload source or exported files to a server. Normal processing creates a new output file and does not modify the source file. External network resources referenced by an SVG are not loaded.
3. File and folder access
OmniImage accesses only files and folders you select or locations allowed by macOS. A security-scoped folder bookmark may be stored locally so the app can continue using your chosen output folder. You can choose a different folder at any time.
4. Information stored on your device
OmniImage stores app preferences, language and appearance choices, free usage allowance, and output folder access information locally. A Pro entitlement record may be stored securely in the macOS Keychain. This information is used only to operate the app and is not sent to Chang Studio.
5. Purchases
The optional OmniImage Pro lifetime purchase is processed by the Apple App Store through StoreKit. OmniImage uses StoreKit to retrieve product information, complete or restore purchases, and determine whether Pro is unlocked. Chang Studio does not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy policy.
6. Data collection and sharing
OmniImage does not collect personal information, user files, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or precise location. Chang Studio therefore does not sell or share this information with third parties.
7. Data retention and deletion
Chang Studio does not retain OmniImage user data on its servers. Removing OmniImage and its application data removes locally stored preferences and usage information. Keychain records may be managed separately by macOS. Exported files remain where you saved them until you delete them.
8. External links
OmniImage may open support information, App Store pages, or email links in your default browser or mail app. Once opened, those services operate under their own privacy policies.
9. Children’s privacy
OmniImage does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
10. Changes to this policy
If OmniImage’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect. The current effective date appears at the top of this page.
